Micro Volunteering

Other ways of staying connected

The sport sector has witnessed the impacts of a constantly changing world. Many societal changes such as busy lifestyles, desire for more flexibility, constant distractions with technology and the impacts of COVID-19 have created new challenges for sport and sport volunteering. Traditional volunteer roles tend to have several barriers to entry (e.g. time and knowledge required) making people less willing to get involved. We & Cricket NSW recognise the importance of being adaptable in the modern volunteering world and as such, we aim to enhance the volunteer experience by breaking down roles to suit people’s skillsets and availabilities.
